Thurman Wenzl

Who is Thurman?

I'm a retired workplace safety inspector and researcher, now active in worker and community organizing in the Cincinnati - Covington area to seek a more just society. In my varied careers in labor organizing and public health, I’ve developed some ideas on encouraging more participation and building coalitions that can start to bring real change while fighting back right now against Trump’s nonsense.

Throughout this experience, I hope to bring together the different strands of my career, from trying to reform existing unions, to working with worker centers to reach the 88% unorganized, to building community coalitions that can seek racial and economic justice - through campaigns for affordable apartments for modest income workers in social services, retail and hospitality, for example.
